The truffle can be ripe enough now, but still the woods and hedges are full of ticks, in arm-our plating; and the later truffle is so much tastier. So , I stay at home; but soon it will all be upon us.One more puppy, a fine fellow , to collect its owner and then hopefully just the two dogs, walnuts to collect, cobb nuts to crunch and perhaps , I drive north to collect some early parkland truffle.
