Hunting the limestone ridges of devon last week Brenda like her master showed a great passion for the English Queen of truffles . This truffle is distinctive with her flattish nose, strong perfume and honey colored flesh. Not like the spiky prince that makes the magic come fourth from every pie. Their latin
names might be unicinatum and aestivum but one is to eat raw on the tongue the other is the great ingredient for the soul of the kitchen.
